Q: What resolution can my photos be scanned at?

All photos are scanned at 600 dpi. Though most companies scan at 300dpi, we, at PicAdda scan at 600 dpi to ensure good quality. The final size will vary depending upon the size of the original photograph.

Q: Can you scan my photos at a higher resolution?

We can scan photos at a higher resolution if specifically requested. The charges, however will increase based on the resolution.

Q: Are my photos returned to me?

Yes, your photos are returned to you along with the digital CD/DVD of your scanned photos. You can further upload your photos on our networking portal which makes it easy for you to share with family and friends.

Q: Are my photos returned to me in the same order/albums/bundles?

We try to keep your photos in the same albums or order. But, there are times when this is not possible. Sometimes, your photos may not be in the same covers you sent them to us in.

Q: I have very old photo albums of B&W photos that are glued on the pages. Can they be scanned and if so, what would be the charge?

B&W photos that are glued on the albums can be scanned. You can send us the album. However, since this involves additional work, we charge Rs. 10/- per photo.

Q: I have my photos inserted in albums, but do not have the time to remove them and send you the same. Can they be scanned and if so, what would be the charge?

You can send us the album as is. We shall remove the photos from the respective sheets and scan the same. However, since this involves additional work, we charge Rs. 10/- per photo.

Q: Can you scan cropped and cut-out photos?

Yes, we scan cropped and cut-out photos as well

Q: What happens if my pictures are curled or bent?

Send us your pictures even if its bent and we will try to scan it. In case, it is not possible, we’ll let you know once we see the picture.

Q: Can you scan slides or negatives?

Yes we do. We scan slides and negatives as a separate service. The cost varies depending upon quantity and resolution. For more info, please call us at: 9845643658

Q:How long will it take to complete my scanning order?

We try to complete any scanning order within 10 working days.

Q:Can you custom name my files or put my images into separate folders on the DVD?

Due to the high number of photos that are scanned in an average order, we cannot offer to custom name your scanned images or separate them into folders.

Q: How do I create a new account and reuse the same every time?

To use the services of PicAdda, please open an account with us. Click on the 'Register Now' link on the home page. A new page will appear. Fill in the details as required. We need a valid e-mail address that will be used to correspond with you. On completion of the registration process, you will be logged in directly to your adda. You can use the same login and password for subsequent visits.

Q: How do I retrieve my password if I forget it?

If you forget your password, click on the 'Forgot Password?' link on the login page. You will be asked to enter the e-mail address you used to register. Your password will be emailed to your email account.

Q: How do I change my account information and password?

Once you are logged in, click on my profile on the left side of the page. It will take you to a new page, where you can click on Edit Profile or Change Password, make the necessary changes and click on the Submit Button.
